Jurgen Klopp fumes despite late Liverpool win over Leicester

Jurgen Klopp said he couldnt enjoy Liverpools late win over Leicester after Hamza Choudhurys filthy driven Mohamed Salah into hobble off.
The Leicester midfielder scythed down the Liverpool forward to prevent him a clear route to target in the last minute of the game at Anfield, also was given a yellow card while Salah, after enjoying on for several moments, left the pitch in visible pain, with his longer-term state as yet unknown.
Liverpool went on to keep their winning streak to get a 17th Premier League game up but after the match, a sullen-looking Klopp fumed at Choudhury – whose red-card foul on Matt Ritchie at August left him to the sidelines for two months.
I stand and ought to be just happy due to the way the boys did it, but I cannot get within the Choudhury yellow card he told Sky Sports. He should know better.
He possibly was unfortunate with Ritchie, but he has to calm down. You cannot go for the guy, and then get just a card, I dont know how that works.
Three years in a row weve been the group with the cheapest yellow cards, we dont do these things. To impede Mo down, that is really not acceptable.
Klopp felt Liverpool had been good value for the win at Anfield, which likewise equalled his or her best-ever beginning to a season, fitting an eight-match winning streak at the start of the 1990/91 season.
Ahead of Manchester Citys game against Wolves, Liverpool stand eight points clear at the top of the Premier League.
We won the match, it, we were even better, Klopp continued. Leicester are a team and they were fantastic for 30 minutes, but apart from that its not like Adrian had 30 saves or whatever.
Klopp known as the decision to award Sadio Mane a last-minute spot kick aclear punishment, but Brendan Rodgers, while stopping short of criticising the conclusion, was unhappy with all the Liverpool forward.
I believe that going into the box, Sadio was probably making certain he made the most of the contact, he said. The referees given it online feel. Its hard for the guys in the [VAR] studio to overrule that.
I think if it was not given no one would have given a great deal of it. We needed to perform better at that moment too, those little details can really cost you three points or a point.
Its quite cruel to concede the punishment so late, Im not sure it was clear and clean, but very pleased with the team we are playing against the winners, a team so powerful, particularly in the home.
Paul Merson questioned if Leicesters James Maddison was after winning last weekends win over Newcastle fit , despite his equalising goal at Anfield.
Leicester is going to be let down, but did lots of people actually expect them to go to the house of the European winners and win? Very few, he explained.
They got into a few places, but their final overhaul was very bad. If James Maddison was match as the match was not really influenced by him, I do not know. Jamie Vardy did not really receive any change.
Youve got to remember there is a major gulf between the two sides. There are not a lot.
But they will do a lot better than a number of other teams will perform in Anfield.
