Former Minister Advocate M Ruhul Kuddus Talukdar Dulu stated that the Awami League, during their 15-and-a-half-year rule, has completely destroyed the country’s education system. He highlighted that during the BNP government, efforts were made to establish a cheating-free education system aimed at creating a proud generation.

Dulu made these remarks as the chief guest at a discussion titled “What to Do in the Upcoming National Parliamentary Election,” organized by the Zia Parishad Natore District Branch on Monday (October 20).

He said, “Since coming to power, the Awami League has not only been involved in killings, enforced disappearances, loot, and corruption but has also deliberately destroyed the education system. Under their rule, students passed exams 100% even without studying. The Awami League has deliberately kept students away from education, attempting to ruin the nation.”

Dulu added, “If BNP comes to power in the next election, it will reinstate the cheating-free education system. Not only teachers but every conscious citizen must play a role in building a better nation.”

He further remarked, “The Awami League government has made no progress in the education sector. They have only appointed their preferred people to important positions and looted the country. When BNP returns to power, the education sector will be developed, and teachers’ needs and concerns will be properly addressed.”

The event, held at the district BNP office, was chaired by former district vice-president Ahmadul Haque Chowdhury Swapon. Other speakers included district BNP convener Rahim Newaz, joint convener Mostafizur Rahman Shahin, Saiful Islam Aftab, former district BNP convener Shahidul Islam Bachchu, former organizing secretary and ex-mayor of Natore municipality Kazi Shah Alam, district BNP member Nasim Uddin Nasim, district Jubo Dal president A Hai Talukdar Dalim, district teachers’ association president Yusuf Ali, and principal Al Asad bin Saeed.
