Love and warmth have spread throughout the mosques and madrasas of Galachipa in Patuakhali. To encourage young children to attend the house of Allah, the Bangladesh Nationalist Party’s student wing, Chhatra Dal, has launched a special humanitarian initiative.
On Sunday (October 19), from morning till afternoon, Chhatra Dal activists distributed wafers as gifts to young worshippers after prayers at various mosques across the upazila.
The event brought joyful smiles to the children’s faces and created a festive atmosphere within the mosque premises.
Nasir Uddin, Joint General Secretary of Galachipa Upazila BNP, said, “Such initiatives will not only increase children’s interest in religious practices but also promote humanity, harmony, and positive attitudes in society.”
Local guardian Mamun Mia praised the effort, saying, “This initiative by Chhatra Dal is truly commendable. The children are now attending prayers with enthusiasm, which is very positive for society.”
Habib, President of Galachipa Government College Chhatra Dal, added, “We will continue such activities in the future so that children can grow up practicing their faith alongside strong social values.”
