Popular actress and model Mehazabien Chowdhury is stepping into a new role in the upcoming season of Lux Channel i Superstar 2025 — this time as the head judge. The same platform that launched her career back in 2010 will now see her return, not as a contestant, but as a mentor and decision-maker.

Mehazabien first rose to fame after winning the Lux Channel i Superstar title in 2010. Her victory marked the beginning of a highly successful career in television and modeling, where she quickly became one of the most admired faces in the industry.

Speaking about her return to the show, Mehazabien shared, “This platform was the turning point in my life. Returning here as a judge is a great honor and also a huge responsibility. It now falls on us to find the right talent, and I will do my best to fulfill that duty with honesty and sincerity.”

She added, “I feel truly honored to be sharing the judging panel with Jaya Ahsan and Raihan Rafi. I’m hopeful that this season will be exceptional, and that we’ll be able to select a truly deserving winner.”

The last edition of the competition was held in 2018, where Mim Mantasha was crowned the winner. After a seven-year hiatus, the iconic reality show is making its return.

Registrations began on May 6 and will continue until June 5. Women aged between 18 and 27 are eligible to participate. In addition to acting and styling, this year’s competition will also assess participants’ content creation skills — a new and timely addition to the format.
