Bangladeshi-Spanish model and actress Maria Mim is stepping into a new chapter of her life. Six years after her divorce from popular TV actor Siddiqur Rahman, Maria has confirmed she is in a relationship again and is planning to get married soon.
Recently, Maria shared a romantic video on her Instagram, where she referred to her partner as “my love” without revealing his identity. The video quickly caught the attention of social media users. In a candid interview, she said, “Yes, I’m in love. He’s not from the media, just an ordinary person. We’re planning to get married soon.”
Maria married Siddiqur Rahman in 2012, and the couple had a son named Arsh Hossain. However, in 2018, tensions began to grow in their marriage as Maria expressed a desire to return to showbiz. Their relationship eventually ended in divorce in 2019.
When asked about her ex-husband, Maria responded firmly, saying, “Siddiq is now my past, just another man. Meeting him after our divorce would be a sin. Please don’t associate me with him anymore.”
Meanwhile, Maria’s name has also surfaced in recent controversy surrounding the Celebrity Cricket Champions Trophy 2025. She is among several stars who were served legal notices over allegations of indecency. Expressing her frustration, Maria commented, “That lawyer just wants to go viral—nothing more. If I wanted, I could sue him for defamation.”
