Popular South Indian film and television actor Rajesh Williams has passed away at the age of 75. He breathed his last on Thursday (May 29) in Chennai.
According to Indian media reports, the actor suddenly experienced a drop in blood pressure earlier in the morning and was being rushed to the hospital. However, he passed away on the way. He is survived by his daughter Divya and son Deepak.
Deepak made his acting debut in 2014, although he is primarily a businessman. Rajesh lost his wife, Joan Sylvia Vanathirayar, in 2012.
Superstar Rajinikanth expressed his grief over the actor’s death, saying, “I’m heartbroken by the untimely passing of my dear friend Rajesh. He was a remarkable person. I pray for his soul to rest in peace and extend my condolences to his family and loved ones.”
Rajesh began his film career with Aval Oru Thodar Kathai and went on to appear in several notable films such as Thanneer Thanneer, Andha 7 Naatkal, and Paalangal Mudivathillai. Though mostly known for his supporting roles, he also played the lead in Kanni Paruvathile.
