Known for her outspoken nature and lively personality, actress Pori Moni has always chosen to walk her own path—regardless of criticism. Whether on-screen or off, she’s been a subject of both admiration and controversy. Yet today, she stands out not just as a glamorous star of Dhallywood but also as a resilient woman and a devoted mother.
Though her marriage with actor Sariful Razz didn’t last, Pori Moni continues to move forward with her children, building a life on her own terms. Adding a new dimension to her journey, she recently stepped into the world of business. On Valentine’s Day this year, she launched ‘Body’—an online brand shop dedicated to essential products for mothers and newborns.
Within just a few months, ‘Body’ has received significant attention and support. Now, Pori Moni has announced a new humanitarian initiative tied to her brand. A portion of the company’s sales revenue—allocated every three months—will be used to support pregnant women and newborns in need.
Speaking about this initiative, she said, “As you all know, ‘Body’ was launched on Valentine’s Day for mothers and babies. The love and encouragement I’ve received since then have given me the strength to keep going. That’s why we’ve decided that every quarter, a specific portion of our sales will be dedicated to helping pregnant women and newborns.”
Meanwhile, several of Pori Moni’s films are awaiting release. She has also signed on for a new film titled Golap, where she will star opposite actor Nirab Hossain.
