The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) has announced new retail prices for Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) for the month of June. The price of a standard 12-kg LPG cylinder has been reduced by Tk 28 — from Tk 1,431 to Tk 1,403. The revised price came into effect on June 1, 2025.

The announcement was made on Monday (June 2) by BERC, with the new prices taking effect from the evening of the same day.

Alongside LPG, the price of autogas has also been reduced. The per-liter price has been cut by Tk 1.27, bringing it down to Tk 64.30. This new rate also took effect on June 1.

LPG prices have seen several adjustments in recent months. On May 4, the price of a 12-kg cylinder was reduced by Tk 19 to Tk 1,431. Earlier, on April 6, the price remained unchanged. On March 3, the price was reduced by Tk 28 to Tk 1,450. However, in February, the price was increased by Tk 19, reaching Tk 1,478.

According to BERC, monthly price adjustments are made in line with fluctuations in the international energy market.
