On the occasion of World Environment Day, the Bangladesh Nationalist Student Party (BNSP) has launched a 15-day tree planting program. As part of this initiative, saplings of neem, mango, jackfruit, and bay leaf trees were planted on Thursday (June 5) at the Welfare and Research Institute campus of Dhaka University.

The program was led by Md. Tariqul Islam Tarik, Joint General Secretary of the BNSP Central Council and former elected General Secretary of the Salimullah Muslim Hall Student Party at Dhaka University. Several other student leaders and party members were also present during the event.

The BNSP media cell’s verified Facebook page shared details about the program.

Earlier, the organization’s Office Secretary (with Vice President status), Md. Jahangir Alam, had announced the 15-day tree planting initiative in a formal statement to mark World Environment Day.
