Facebook is no longer just a place to connect with friends. It has become a huge platform worldwide where people share opinions, run businesses, spread news, and connect with others. To keep this large community safe and orderly, Facebook has created a set of rules called Community Standards.

Main Purpose of Community Standards:

Facebook’s rules focus on four main areas:

• Freedom of expression for everyone
• Personal safety of users
• Protection of privacy and dignity
• Control over false and harmful content

For Bangladesh specifically, there are additional important rules:

• Protecting social values and decency
• Respecting religious and cultural sensitivities

For example, explicit or nude content is restricted to protect community morals.
