Sharif Uddin Jewel, convener of Dhaka North Metropolitan Jubo Dal and a prospective candidate, carried out public outreach in the Kushtia-1 (Daulatpur) constituency as part of implementing the 31-point agenda announced under the directive of BNP’s acting chairman, Tarique Rahman.

On Thursday (October 2), he inaugurated a new party office at Daulatpur Bazar, marking the start of his day-long program. Following this, he visited various areas in Khalishakundi and Aria unions, engaging directly with the public and explaining the key points of the 31-point agenda.

During the outreach, Sharif Uddin Jewel addressed the local people, saying, “The people of Daulatpur want change today. They want a Daulatpur free from terrorism, extortion, corruption, and drugs. The 31-point agenda is a charter for the liberation of the people. From this land, we take an oath to implement Tarique Rahman’s agenda.”

He added, “Our country is currently facing extreme misgovernance, corruption, and the absence of democracy. The 31-point agenda, guided by Tarique Rahman’s leadership, lays out a roadmap for building a new Bangladesh. I am committed to implementing these points alongside the people of Daulatpur. We will deliver the message of the 31 points to every household. Implementing Tarique Rahman’s directives is the central goal of my political life.”

The outreach witnessed enthusiastic participation from local party leaders and the general public. Party officials noted that Sharif Uddin Jewel has been active in the field for a long time, and initiatives like this strengthen the BNP’s grassroots presence.

Political analysts believe that his outreach program will not only consolidate BNP’s base in Daulatpur but also play a significant role in uniting the party’s forces ahead of the upcoming national elections.

This campaign has inspired party workers and rapidly spread the BNP’s 31-point message among the local population.
