Ahead of the upcoming 13th national parliamentary election, Dr. Fariduzzaman Farhad, chairman of NPP and coordinator of the Nationalist Alliance, has requested votes for the ‘Dhaner Sheesh’ (Rice Sheaf) election symbol.
He made the appeal at a dialogue meeting held on Friday (October 10) evening at the Sri Sri Kalimata Temple in Sardarpara, Lohagara Municipality. Dr. Fariduzzaman is a candidate for the Narail-2 constituency.
He urged everyone to remain vigilant during the upcoming Kali Puja festival to ensure that no one tries to disrupt communal harmony or create security disturbances. He called on law enforcement agencies and the public to stay alert and uphold peace.
Dr. Fariduzzaman added, “I am one of you—your son and brother. If elected as MP, I promise you full government support and will stand by you in both good times and bad.”
The dialogue meeting was also attended by special guests including Md. Tipu Sultan, Organizational Secretary of Narail District BNP; Saleha Begum, General Secretary of Narail District Women’s Wing; and Md. Musa Molla, Joint General Secretary of Lohagara Municipality BNP.
