An Ulama conference took place on Sunday, October 12, at 3 PM at Gobindapur Islamiya Madrasa in Sonargaon. The event was presided over by Mufti Abu Bakr Siddiq Qasemi.
In his keynote speech, Pir Allama Abdul Hamid from Madhupur emphasized that adhering firmly to the teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is the key to peace both in this world and the hereafter.
He called for the successful organization of the upcoming International Khatm-e-Nubuwwat Grand Conference, scheduled for November 15 at Suhrawardy Udyan, demanding the declaration of the Qadiani community as non-Muslim. He expressed confidence that this conference will unite the nation’s lovers of the Prophet into a massive crowd, God willing.
Special guest Maulana Mohiuddin Rabbani mentioned that Dr. Muhammad Yunus, the chief advisor of the caretaker government, has recognized the Qadiani community as a minority. He urged the government to officially declare this status at the state level, which would provide protection to the community.
Maulana Rabbani further warned that if the Ahmadiyya Qadiani community is not officially declared non-Muslim before the international Khatm-e-Nubuwwat conference, the country’s Ulama and the Tawhidi public would be compelled to take to the streets in protest.
The event was conducted by Mufti Nurullah Hashemi and featured speeches from prominent scholars including Maulana Abdul Awal, Maulana Zahurul Islam, Maulana Abdul Qayum Subhani, Maulana Mir Idris Nadvi, Maulana Abdul Qadir, Allama Belal Hussain, Maulana Ehteshamul Haque Qasemi Uzani, Maulana Mohiuddin Khan, Maulana Rashed bin Noor, Maulana Yamin Hussain Azmi, Mufti Yunus, Maulana Obaidul Qader Nadvi Qasemi, among other notable religious leaders.
