A vibrant and festive workers’ meeting was held under the initiative of Ward 41 of Badda Thana Chhatra Dal, operating under Dhaka Metropolitan North Chhatra Dal. The event featured a special speech by Mahfuz-ur-Rahman Lipkon, General Secretary of Dhaka Metropolitan North Chhatra Dal.

In his speech, Lipkon said,
“The Zia family is a blessing for Bangladesh. The hopes for our country’s independence, sovereignty, and democracy are deeply rooted in this family. Therefore, we must stand united with the Zia family in any situation.”

He further added,
“For the past 17 years, Sheikh Hasina’s government has kept Bangladesh restrained, and the common people have suffered oppression and persecution. A secret group is still conspiring to destabilize the country. The Chhatra Dal must remain vigilant and, along with the people, resist these subversive activities.”

The meeting’s chief speaker was Md. Salahuddin Ahmed, President of Dhaka Metropolitan North Chhatra Dal. He urged every leader and activist of the Chhatra Dal to familiarize themselves with and spread the “31-Point Blueprint for Building a New Bangladesh,” prepared by BNP’s Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman. He emphasized,
“The Nationalist Chhatra Dal is the most persecuted and sacrificed organization today. Keeping our historic role in mind, we must prepare ourselves more firmly for the upcoming movements and struggles.”

The chief guest at the meeting was Dr. M. A. Kaiyum, Secretary of Microcredit Affairs of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP). He stated,
“Chhatra Dal is not only an organization for movements and struggles but also a platform for nurturing future leadership. Through quality education, political knowledge, and organizational skills, the Chhatra Dal must play a role in state governance in the coming days.”

The meeting was chaired by Ashraful Islam, President of Badda Thana Chhatra Dal, and conducted by Din Islam Din, General Secretary of Badda Thana Chhatra Dal.

Leaders from various levels of Badda Thana and Ward 41 Chhatra Dal also attended. Speakers at the meeting paid deep tribute to the martyred students of the 2024 movement and called on the Chhatra Dal to remain courageous, united, and honest in facing all future political conspiracies.
