Six BASIS Member Companies Participate in Japan IT Week 2025

One of Asia’s largest IT exhibitions, Japan IT Week 2025 (Spring), has begun in Tokyo, Japan.

The event officially opened on Wednesday (April 23) at Tokyo Big Sight, one of the city’s major exhibition centers. The exhibition will run until April 25.

With the support of the Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority, six member companies of the Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS) are participating in this highly anticipated event.

Bangladesh’s Ambassador to Japan, Md. Daud Ali, inaugurated the Bangladesh Pavilion on the first day of the exhibition. He was joined by Commercial Counselor Morarji Desai Barman, ICT Division’s Deputy Secretary Md. Tabibur Rahman, and Director (Finance & Administration) of the Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority, SM Farid Uddin.

The BASIS member companies participating in Japan IT Week are:

  • Twinforte Solutions Limited
  • Frontier Technologies Limited
  • Revo Interactive

The overall coordination of BASIS’s participation is being handled by Mohammad Roushan Kamal James, a member of the BASIS Support Committee.

BASIS Support Committee Chairman Rafael Kabir stated, “Representing Bangladesh’s IT sector on an international platform like Japan IT Week is a major achievement for us. This participation will not only create global opportunities for startups and IT companies, but also showcase Bangladesh’s technological capabilities to the world.”

At the exhibition, the participating BASIS member companies are showcasing their IT products and services. Additionally, the event provides an important opportunity for networking among investors, IT professionals, and other stakeholders, which will play a key role in strengthening Bangladesh’s position in the global tech market.
