On the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Azha, the authorities have issued new instructions regarding metro rail operations. According to the directive, metro rail services will remain suspended on Eid day.
This information was shared in a press release issued on Wednesday, June 4, by Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL).
The notice stated that metro rail will not operate on June 7, the day of Eid-ul-Azha. However, on the following day, Sunday, June 8, metro rail services will resume from 8:00 AM, operating at 30-minute intervals.
From June 9 onward, metro rail will run following the regular schedule for government holidays.
